Caterpillar pultrusion machine
A caterpillar pultrusion machine pulls the cured profile between two continuous, synchronized tracks instead of reciprocating clamps. Grip is spread over a long contact zone, so there is no clamp handover and no clamp mark. The ZS-L5A and ZS-L10A deliver 50 kN and 100 kN pull force with 2,500 mm and 3,000 mm holding zones.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
- When is a caterpillar puller the right choice?
- For thin-walled hollow profiles with low stiffness during cure, cosmetic surfaces that must not carry clamp marks, and small sections pulled several at a time. Heavy, thick profiles needing high pull force are better on a hydraulic machine.
- Can it pull several profiles at once?
- Yes. With a multi-cavity die and the 300 mm track width of the ZS-L10A, several small profiles can be pulled in parallel. The cavity count is set during die design.
- How long do the tracks last?
- Track pad life depends on profile abrasiveness, clamping pressure and running hours. The factory has not published a figure; a spare-track price is included on the quotation.
- What pull speed can I expect?
- Speed is limited by resin cure in the die, not by the puller. Expected speed is stated for your profile after die design, not as a machine maximum.
