Hydraulic pultrusion machine
A hydraulic pultrusion machine pulls resin-impregnated glass or carbon fiber through a heated steel die using two clamping gantries that grip and pull in alternation. The ZSY series ranges from 100 kN to 500 kN pull force, with PLC control, independent hydraulic clamping and pulling, and six or eight electrically heated die zones held to ±1 °C.

FAQ
Questions buyers ask
- Which model fits my profile?
- Pull force is driven by die length, cross-section perimeter, fiber content and line speed. Send the drawing and target speed; the engineering team sizes the machine from a friction estimate and its own production experience with similar profiles.
- Why are some cells marked TBD?
- The factory's two catalogue pages carry different clamping-force, heating-power and weight figures for the larger models. Those values are confirmed in writing per quotation instead of being guessed here.
- Can the machine run at 480 V 60 Hz?
- The standard build is 380 V 50 Hz. Other supply voltages and frequencies, and a UL 508A control panel, are quoted separately. State your plant supply on the RFQ.
- What does the FAT cover?
- Dry and wet running of the machine on the factory floor, pull-force and temperature logging, and where a die is supplied, a trial pull with dimensional report. The pass/fail criteria are written into the quotation.
- Hydraulic or caterpillar?
- Hydraulic reciprocating machines suit thick, heavy and large profiles that need high pull force. Caterpillar machines suit thin-walled hollow profiles that clamp marks would distort. See the caterpillar page for the comparison.
